My name is Christian Murray. Although I’m only 15 years old, I know what I want to be when I grow up. I enjoy working outside with my uncle repairing houses and trailers. I love to be outside working with my hands instead of inside looking at a screen. Currently, I’m getting B’s and C’s which accounts for my 2.5 GPA in eighth grade. I will hopefully increase my study habits in high school because I want to attend EHOVE. When I grow up, I want to be a carpenter
When I grow up, I want to be a carpenter. I will become a carpenter by learning a lot of terms and working on the necessary skills at EHOVE. According to the Ohio Means Jobs website, “ There are a lot of jobs open to being a carpenter. According to "Carpenter." Carpenters repair building frameworks and structures such as stairways, doorframes, partitions, and rafters—made from wood and other materials. They also may install kitchen cabinets, siding, and drywall. I also go to work with my uncle, I like to help them clean up, put in drywall there's also a lot of other things we do. Carpenters use a lot of tools. According to “Ohio means jobs” Training A 3-4 year apprenticeship is standard Key Skills Manual dexterity, detail-oriented, strong math and problem-solving skills, strength, stamina focus, basic computer skills, experience using a variety of hand and power tools, including chisels, levels, sanders, saws and nail guns Salary $40,820 is the median annual salary for carpenters in 2014. To become a carpenter it takes a skill you have to have exact measures or it is all going to be all messed up. If you are scared of heights you can do inside work like work on drywall, and flooring. There are a lot of jobs in carpenter work. According to "OES Maps." there are a lot of jobs open in the carpenter work. $24.76 – the average hourly earnings for US construction employees in production and nonsupervisory staff positions as of February 2015 that is the hourly salary. The US Bureau of Labor Statistics defines construction occupations to include: carpenters; construction laborers, construction managers, electricians; and operating engineers and other construction equipment operators To find a carpenter job it’s not that hard you make phone calls and look some up on the internet. You don’t make bad money in carpenter work to it is a good job to work. When I grow up, I want to be a carpenter. A lot of jobs are open in carpenter work, but they only accept the ones with high school diploma. So if I what to be a carpenter I better finish school first. If someone is a carpenter they might need a lot of tools, so they can work and do all the work they need to get done to get paid for the work site your on. I’m going to try to go to Ehove to learn more about my passion for being a carpenter.
